Daniell Associates is a boutique Family Law practice specialising in all aspects of Family Law. We have a reputation for problem solving and delivering excellent, cost effective and practical legal advice and support. Our firm comprises the mother and daughter team of Judy Daniell and Bonny Broad. They are members of the Family Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society.
Directors
Judy Daniell
Judy was admitted to the Bar in 1982 and has extensive experience in all aspects of family law including care of children disputes and relationship property matters. She is regularly appointed by the Court to undertake Lawyer for Child and Lawyer for Subject Person appointments to represent the interests of children and to protect individuals with a limited or diminished capacity. Judy has a reputation as a pragmatic problem solver.
She also has an interest in education law, employment law and sports law. Her qualifications include a Diploma in Physical Education.
Judy's interests include outdoor pursuits such as marathon running, skiing, golf, hiking, yachting and enjoying time on Lake Taupo.
Bonny Broad
Bonny was admitted to the Bar in 2007. She has worked in Auckland, the United Kingdom and Australia (primarily in Insurance Law) before moving to Taupo in 2014 to join Daniell Associates and practise as a family lawyer.
She became a Director of the firm on 1 April 2019. Bonny specialises in Care of Children Act disputes, family violence proceedings and relationship property matters. She is regularly appointed by the Family Court to undertake Lawyer for Child appointments.
Outside the office, Bonny is busy with her young family enjoying all that Taupo has to offer.
